Hello! I'm Lori and this is my first attempt at blogging so please bear with me!
I am a small-town Virginia girl who is now "trapped in Maryland" with my husband, who is affectionately known on this blog as Mr. Pants, and our cat Beebs. We were married in September 2010 after a year and a half of dating. We bought our first home in November 2011.
I enjoy writing, reading, attempts at craftiness, decorating our home, traveling, and baking.
Thanks to Mr. Pants, I have also become a pretty DC United soccer fan (we have season tickets).
I'm also slightly obsessed with pugs.
And how did I come up with the blog name lemons and lovebirds? I also love lemons... and we had a lovebird themed wedding.
